I don’t want

I don’t want to be a reinforcement 

Of societal norms.

I don’t want to be someone 

That’s already been 

Done.

I don’t want to do something 

Because I’m supposed to,

I work to be authentic in

Everything I say & do-

In all ways of this I have

Failed,

As time goes on 

I shall fail some more.

What ever it is in anything 

I do,

I am no act-

I am always me

Without even thinking.
